By train

From Milan, leaving from the train stations Milano Centrale or Porta Garibaldi. Take the train in the direction of Lecco-Tirano or Sondrio. The journey takes about two hours. Principle train stations: Milan Stazione Centrale - Lecco - Colico - Morbegno - Sondrio – Tirano. Arriving from north, it’s possible to reach Tirano by the Swiss Train (Rhaetic Railways) from St. Moritz, where you travel in certain stretches at an altitude of more than 2000 metres with a view of glaciers.
